Write for us
Curious Screen Culture welcomes pitches that help readers notice how screens guide attention and meaning. We are interested in focused, original work about images, sound, interfaces, formats and viewing habits, explained for a general audience.
What makes a strong pitch
Bring a clear question, a defined screen-culture subject and a reason it matters beyond one passing release or trend. Tell us the central point, the examples you would use and how the piece would help a reader look or think differently. Comparisons are welcome when they reveal a real trade-off rather than forcing a winner.
A useful scope
Proposals should be specific enough to support a coherent article but broad enough to remain useful over time. We welcome explanatory pieces, comparisons, histories, close readings and thoughtful myth-checks. Do not present guesses about a creator's motives as established fact, or promise testing, access or expertise you do not have.
Sending a proposal
Send your pitch through the Contact page and select the editorial option. Include a working title, a short summary, the intended reader and any sources or examples central to the idea. Please send a proposal rather than a complete unsolicited article.
